Hundreds of Proposal Management Professionals Prepare for the Association of Proposal Management Professionals National Capital Area’s Largest Educational and Networking Event

Washington, DC., September 26, 2017 – The Association of Proposal Management Professionals - National Capital Area (APMP-NCA) has launched their Mid-Atlantic Conference (MAC) and Expo 2017 conference schedule, detailing a variety of learning and networking opportunities for the area’s leading professional development event for proposal management, capture, business development, pricing, and graphics professionals. APMP-NCA's MAC and Expo will be held October 13, 2017 at The Westin at Tysons Corner, VA.

The MAC & Expo provides a rich array of learning experiences and development opportunities, delivered in four program sessions. The theme this year is "Potential: Unlimited!” The conference also offers a huge expo, where vendors will present the latest tools and services to increase productivity, effectiveness, and win rates. Speakers will share industry best practices, thought-provoking ideas, innovations, and new developments shaping the future of the profession and industry in today’s dynamic market.

The 2017 conference will begin with opening keynote speaker Alka Dhillon who will present “Conscious Leadership: Connect, Engage, Lead, and Inspire to Engender Personal and Collective Success.” She is the Founder and CEO of Technalink, Inc. one of the leading technology companies in the Washington Metropolitan area. Ms. Dhillon is the author of the book “The OM Factor®:  A Woman’s Spiritual Guide to Leadership: 7 Essential Tools and 7 Key Traits to Cultivate for Your Success and Well-Being.  The conference closing keynote will be Mike Parkinson, CPP APMP Fellow as a capstone session who will lead “The Secret to Unlocking Your Potential.” Mike is one of 16 Microsoft PowerPoint MVPs in the United States, is a thought leader and an internationally recognized visual communication and proposal expert, author, and professional trainer. Mike is sought after by Fortune 500 companies for his ability to quickly develop and communicate winning solutions. He is a partner at 24 Hour Company, the premier proposal creative services firm and has spearheaded multibillion-dollar projects as well as helped clients win billions of dollars. Mike’s training, Billion Dollar Graphics book and Graphic Cheat Sheet help companies win more proposals and make powerful presentations while saving money and time.
